Ingredients
  

  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup evaporated milk or cream
  • 1 tbsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 oz bourbon

Instructions
 

  • Melt butter and flour and cook for 5 minutes on low heat.
  • Stir in sugar and cream and cook for an additional 3 minutes.
  • Add the remaining ingredients and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Pour over warmed bread pudding.
